Sumy Distillery P. Ltd. was established in 1999 C.E. Through its relentless efforts the organization has built a sound base in Nepal. Sumy achieved its success at a critical juncture, as the liquor industry was at a rapid decline. The major factor for this decline was substandard imitations. At that point in time people had little faith in local manufactures. Our Managing Director saw this situation as an opportunity and lead the way by successfully introduced the Non-refillable cap. The company introduced its debut brand in the market with much fanfare. The average Nepalese consumer was introduced to the Non-refillable cap with for the first time. We then successfully overcame imitations and have led the front ever since.
