Sunway Student Volunteers

Sunway Student Volunteers (SSV) is known as a student volunteer body in Sunway University campus. It was formed with the belief and understanding that the spirit of volunteerism is essential in humanity to bring continuous impacts and benefits to the community. It then grew to become one of the largest and fastest growing student groups on campus, having a total of 1000 members from both Sunway College and Sunway University. Within a short span of time, its member numbers outgrew the size of a typical club, leading to the transformation of a student body, complete with a range of volunteering activities. Prior to becoming Sunway Student Volunteers, the club was renamed from Sunway Social Society to Sunway Volunteer Society a year later from its formation in 2010 with only 22 students.
