Founded in 1908, Superior supplied breads and pastries to the community surrounding a busy cotton mill in northeastern Connecticut. Business prospered and by the early 1920s, the bakery relocated to a new Main Street location where the operations remained for many years. Today, our dedicated specialty sweet goods bakery is located in Southbridge, Massachusetts, about 10 miles from the site of our original bakery.
