David Forgan and Ray McCague founded Sure Good Foods Ltd. in 2017. Sure Good Foods is the former Wilkinson Foods International Ltd. The new name was inspired by the Forgan family meat-packing business established in Winnipeg by World War II veteran, Jack Forgan. Jack was grandfather and mentor to his grandson, David. Their house brand was Sure-Good. Sure Good Foods provides experienced trading in pork, beef and poultry markets as well as more unique and diverse proteins. Being established as a global leader in the frozen meat business, Sure Good Foods is presently expanding its product line to include frozen vegetables and fruits, and juice concentrates and purees. We hold active memberships in the following associations: Canada Pork International, Canadian Meat Council, United States Meat Export Federation (USMEF), and United States Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC).
