Surf Co. is a Brazilian company that operates in wholesale and retail offering apparel and accessories for Surfing, Skateboarding, and Urban. Its portfolio includes Hang Loose, Volcom, Hurley, Rusty, Vissla, and Huf brands, which positions it as one of the most important in the segment. The history of Surf Co. began with the creation of Hang Loose in 1982 by Alfio Lagnado, now CEO of the group. As a surfer, he decided to enter the surfwear market, which barely existed at the time, to make up for the lack of quality national products.
