Surfing Queensland

Surfing Queensland, founded in 1964, has developed into a thriving sporting association committed to the development of the sport of surfing. As the recognized not-for-profit peak state body of a national association, Surfing Queensland is at the forefront of a unique culture and healthy lifestyle which is universally captivating. Surfing Queensland is part of the group Surfing Australia, a national sport organisation and the representative body on the International Surfing Association comprising 100 member countries. Surfing Queensland has great exposure as it runs, from Coolangatta to Agnes Water, 35 surf events each year including participants from 7 years-old Groms to over 70 years-old Masters.
