Sushi Chef Institute

Sushi Chef Institute is a Sushi School for anyone who wants to learn Sushi making and traditional Japanese cooking. Our program teaches our hard working students to become sushi chefs in 2 months. SCI has so much to offer such our Japanese instructor, Chef Andy Matsuda, who has over 30 years of experience being a sushi chef. Our mission is to convey the essence of Japanese traditional cooking skills and knowledge to the world. The course has an eight week curriculum where students learn to prepare over 30 different types of fish, along with complete details of Sushi skills and Japanese cooking techniques. SCI teaches students the authentic methods and philosophies which ultimately integrates with each individuals technique and expertise. As part of our curriculum, we train our students on proper sanitation procedures, safe food handling and business management of a well-functioning restaurant.
