Frank Sutton founded Sutton Plumbing and Heating in May of 1954. He spent nineteen years as a salesman for Crane Canada and would later spend three more years working for a plumbing wholesaler before venturing out on his own. Sutton Plumbing and Heating was originally located at the corner of Dufferin and Cote St. Luc Road in Hampstead, Quebec. The Sutton team then relocated to Old Orchard and de Maisonneuve before relocating for a third time to 2174 Clifton in NDG, Montreal, Quebec and 6045 De Maisonneuve, Montreal, Quebec. Today, Sutton is located at 7420 St Jacques West a state of the art warehouse & office space. Sutton was originally founded with one idea in mind: Help contractors and industrial accounts source out product they normally wouldnt be able to find. Frank Sutton quickly realized the growing need for a service-oriented wholesaler and found his niche.
