Sanaye Varaq Iran Group started its activity in 1985 by operating the production lines of PVC sheets. This sheets were used in many important and strategic projects in Iran. With the development of oil and construction projects in the country and the increasing need for polymer sheets made of polyethylene and polypropylene, the companys new production lines were launched in 2004 and the countrys first heavy polyethylene geomembranes were introduced to the market. The production of decorative profiles made of polystyrene was the next goal of the company in line with the development of the portfolio of polymer products, which was put into operation in 2005.
