SWAG to College

Students With Ambition Go (SWAG) To College was established in 2015 as a mentoring non-profit to help first-generation students succeed in college and their early careers. In our first year of operations, SWAG has grown to: Serve over 200 students from 30 high schools across the nation Manage over 200 college mentors participating from 55 colleges across the US Develop an academic advisory board of professors from Rice, Harvard, and MIT SWAGs core program pairs underserved high school students with college students from similar backgrounds, and provides month-by-month timelines to guide students from their freshman year of high school all the way through to college admissions. College students that serve as mentors to high school students in SWAGs core program are invited to participate in the SWAG Young Professionals program as mentees.
