Sweet Threads

At Sweet Threads, we love all things hand-sewn. Sweet Threads began as a lovely, rainy-day sort of hobby and a way to justify my ever-expanding closet (and boxes...and bins...) of fabric. After about a year of dabbling with a few custom home decor projects for friends and playing with designs for a line of childrens clothing, I decided to make it official. Big day: Sweet Threads was born. By day, I teach middle school students how to cook and sew; by evening and weekend, I continue to design, sew and create unique pieces to add to my collection. Whenever possible, vintage, repurposed and recyclable materials are used to make these darling creations. I am always on the lookout for new ideas and fresh ways to combine textiles, and love working on custom commissions.
