Since the late 2000s, the company has been active in promoting and marketing the products of our mills: Deutsche Edelstahlwerke, Ugitech, Steelted, Finkl Steel. Swiss Steel India started its operations with a sales office in Thane and later on built the first warehouse close to Mumbai. The 25-ton crane capabilities of the warehouse gave directly Swiss Steel India the possibility to enter all the tool steel market segments, including the large blocks for the automotive interior and exterior applications. At the same time, the warehouse provided Swiss Steel India with the capability to manage some sophisticated supply chains for some of our end-user customers in stainless steel and engineering steel. Based on the successes of these operations, Swiss Steel India recently invested in a new warehouse in Delhi and in a sale office in Pune.
