Sydney Youth Orchestras

Sydney Youth Orchestras (SYO) is widely acknowledged as NSWs premier orchestral training organisation, comprising 15 ensembles of over 640 young musicians aged 6 to 25. As a strong community organisation, SYO nurtures and develops Australias musicians of the future, making a real difference to the lives of young musicians and the people they reach within the community. SYOs strength lies in the delivery of a high-quality and comprehensive orchestral training program, with the aim of presenting a range of accessible, interactive, and engaging performances throughout the year. The organization performs regularly for the public in Sydneys best venues, as well as in major community events such as Carols in the Domain, Toddlers Proms, and outreach programs, including concerts and workshops in regional NSW.
