Sygehus Snderjylland

Sygehus Snderjylland (Hospital of Southern Jutland) is a hospital with activities in the three cities of Aabenraa, Snderborg and Tnder and with a coverage area of approx. 235.000 inhabitants in the Southern part of Jutland. Sygehus Snderjylland treats patients with almost every kind of disease. Sygehus Snderjylland carries out approx. 430.000 discharges and outpatient visits yearly. About 1700 children are born every year in the hospital. The central accident and emergency department in Aabenraa, the accident and emergency unit in Snderborg and the nurseled accident and emergency unit Tnder receives all together about 35.5000 visits. Sygehus Snderjylland has 369 hospital beds. In the years to come Sygehus Snderjylland will carry through a new hospital structure resulting in a future Sygehus Snderjylland consisting of an emergency hospital in Aabenraa, a specialist hospital in Snderborg and a same-day hospital in Tnder.
