TableTalk

TableTalk is a collegiate framework for conversation between people who would not interact under ordinary circumstances. Founded at Emory University in 2013, it offers an accessible and intentional context for members of college campus communities to share their spaces, ideas, and identities. Since 2013, TableTalk chapters have been founded on other American college campuses, including the University of Pennsylvania, Brandeis University, and Indiana University. The TableTalk platform operates as three campaigns: TableTalks: Pre-set and pre-planned conversations between two disconnected groups. CampusCouches: Setting up furniture around Emory and inviting all who want to engage in free and unstructured conversation. TableTalk[x]: A creative incubator, working to develop other innovative campaigns, events, and programs that identify social voids and contribute to the culture of conversation.
