Making India Drought Resistant Tahaan- the NGO which is run by people like us coming from different genre of society, took up this responsibility of making water reach every village of Maharashtra and later spread our wings to other parts of the country too where our services are needed. OUR AIM IS TO MAKE THE SOCIETY AWARE WHY WATER IS THE ELIXIR AND WHY SMART USE AND COLLECTION OF IT WILL BE BENEFICIAL FOR A PERSON IN THE LONG RUN. Year 2016: We provided more than 520 tankers (Project costed us around 7 Lakh Rs.) to different drought affected villages to alleviate their immediate need for water. To spread awareness about water conservation, we conducted more than 24 street plays across these villages. One of the reasons that contribute to a man made drought is cutting down of trees.
