Tall Ship Providence Foundation

We are a maritime heritage non-profit organization in Alexandria, Virginia Our mission is to promote for posterity the rich maritime, naval, and American Revolutionary War history in Alexandria, Virginia and the Chesapeake Bay region. It is our vision for the Tall Ship Providence Foundation to facilitate and host educational programs and events in order to bring a very interesting piece of history to life. We are in the process of acquiring our tall ship, The Providence. She, (being our ship), will arrive in the early Summer of 2019; reaching her new home port in Old Town Alexandria. Our ship is a twelve-gun, 110 sloop-of-war, that is a full-scale replica of the Continental Navys first warship.
