We aim to ensure that Arctic voices are heard and have the opportunity to contribute to Canadian film. Since our inception, Taqqut Productions has been working with elders and storytellers to ensure that the rich story-telling culture of the Inuit is preserved and passed on. While primarily a film production company, Taqqut also provides other project production services, such as web design, marketing, and technical writing. The companys first short films have screened and won awards at festivals around the world, including Ottawa International Animation Festival, Annecy and the Canadian Screen Awards.
