Tatung University (TTU) is a private university located in the urban area of Taipei city in Taiwan. It was established in 1956 as a two-year program college. The school was accredited as a four-year institute of technology in 1963 and began to offer masters programs in 1976 and doctoral programs in 1982. It was renamed as Tatung University in 1999. Currently, the University is composed of 4 colleges, including Engineering, Electrical and Information Engineering, Management and Design, 10 departments, 11 masters programs, and 6 PhD. programs.
