In the late 1980s the Maltese IT industry was still in a fledgling state. Recognising the massive potential that this industry would have and foreseeing the rapid developments this sector would undergo, Ray Abela founded TCTC Limited in 1987. Mr Abela realised that computers would soon become an integral part of everyday life and focused TCTC on providing training courses, enabling businesspeople and home users to get the most out of their PCs. Today, the vast majority of local councils also collaborate with TCTC to bring essential IT training closer to their communities and to facilitate their citizens interactions with the technology that has now become so common place.
