Team Abhiyaan

Team Abhiyaan is an enthusiastic group of multi-disciplinary students of IIT Madras, committed to building intelligent, robust, precise and safe ground navigation systems. As a competition team of 45 members, we participate in an international robotics competition called IGVC (Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition) held at Oakland University, Michigan, USA. Participants are given a problem statement using which robots have to navigate autonomously through laned obstacles in Auto Nav challenge of IGVC. With the vision of creating autonomous navigation systems to negate human risk, we aim to designing a six-seater golf cart to operate autonomously in closed and restricted environments like institutes, airports and gated communities.
