Team Prime Time

Team Prime Time (TPT) was founded by Executive Director Peter Straus in 2001 in response to the lack of after school opportunities for at-risk youth from lower income communities in Los Angeles. Team Prime Times mission is to provide intervention programs that combine academics, athletics, leadership training and the arts to prepare at-risk youth for the future and allow them to reach their full potential. The organizations primary goals in support of this mission are: a) Provide a safe and positive alternative to the streets during the most dangerous hours of the day; b) Improve student engagement; and c) Eliminate the achievement gap.
