TeamChild

Every day, thousands of youth face profound legal and social barriers that increase their chances of dropping out of school, being homeless or ending up in the juvenile justice system. TeamChild uses its legal expertise and community partnerships to break down barriers to community services in order to overcome the root causes of a youths involvement in the juvenile justice system. TeamChild is a nonprofit civil legal aid organization. We provide free legal representation and advice to youth, as well as legal education resources and trainings to community partners. TeamChilds advocacy and educational efforts create meaningful opportunities for youth and their families. They also strengthen social service networks, ensuring that all children have the support they need to succeed.
