TED Technology, Entertainment, Design - invites the worlds leading thinkers and doers to present their latest Ideas Worth Spreading. First held in 1984 as an annual event in California, TED was acquired from its founder, Richard Saul Wurman, in 2001 by Chris Andersons Sapling Foundation and developed into a multi-media/experience platform.
