TEDxUQ

Technology Entertainment Design (TED) is a non-profit organisation devoted to ideas worth spreading. What started as a four day conference in California a quarter century ago is now a global platform for innovation and ground-breaking thought. The annual TED conference invites the worlds leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes or less. These talks are then released online at www.ted.com; building a clearinghouse of free knowledge from the worlds most inspired thinkers. The TEDx program gives communities,organizations and individuals the opportunity to create TED-like experiences at the local level. Planned and coordinated independently all around the world, TEDx events are a unique gathering in your community that will serve to inspire and inform.
