Teloglion Foundation of Art A.U.Th

The Teloglion Foundation of Art collection is considered as one of the most important collections in Greece as it contains major works of art that point to significant moments and stylistic developments of Modern Greek and European art. The collections core constitutes the Nestor and Aliki Telloglou collection, which was formed as a result of a long research made with passion, sensitivity, insight and acumen. Their donation to the AUTh has an ideological and social character as it had the objective of the aesthetic and artistic education of young people. The commitment and the initial offer of the Telloglou couple, a work of life and love has inspired and brought together the most diverse supporters and friends, intellectuals, artists, and researchers. Important donations were made by Tonis and Ioanna Spiteri, Dimitrios Tsamis and other collectors.
