WINERY The ancient door of Tenuta Santa Caterina, in Grazzano Badoglio in the heart of the Asti Monferrato, opens to show the beauty of the place. Beyond the main courtyard there is a panorama where one can admire the Italian style gardens and part of the vineyards that surround the ancient residence. Tenuta Santa Caterina follows eco-sustainable principles to grow vines that have always been present in Monferrato. The past of Tenuta Santa Caterina lives on through the spectacular Infernotto, excavated 17 metres below ground and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and through the historic cellar where the wines produced by the winery rest and age in barriques and tonneaux made of French oak and in barrels of Slavonian oak.
