Thacker Dairy Products Private Limited

In 1995, Thacker Dairy Products Private Limited started its dairy processing centre in West Bengal. By doing so, it became the 1st Private Dairy in West Bengal, with the vision and aim to organize the then unorganized milk market in and around Kolkata which was at that time filled with local milk sellers in an unhygienic manner. After being a Pioneer in the development and the change of the milk market in West Bengal, Thacker Dairy in 1998 looked at the procurement of milk in West Bengal, which was also much unorganized. Thacker Dairy set up a chilling centre in Shyampur, in 1998, again becoming the first private Dairy in West Bengal to do so. With the help of the chilling centre, Thacker Dairy ensured that the milk it used in its factory was fresh and direct from the farmers. In 2010, Thacker Dairy has become the 1st to set up a Spray Drier Plant in the whole of Eastern India.
