Thali is a non-profit organization driven by the mission to combat apathy towards the less privileged and ensure that everyone has access to nourishing meals. Led by Zoone Hassan and a dedicated team of young professionals, we collect surplus food from restaurants, hotels, and catering services, making sure it reaches those in need. Our goal is to create lasting change in low-income communities by providing equal access to nutritious food for all. In 2009, during the largest displacement crisis in Pakistans history, we raised an impressive PKR 800,000 within seven days to support the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) of Swat. Since then, we have expanded our efforts and continue to make a profound impact on countless lives. With a deep understanding of the issue of food wastage in Pakistan, where 40% of food is wasted annually, we are committed to combating food insecurity.
