The Department of Operational Research was independently set up in 1973 under the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences; a decade after Operational Research was introduced as a subject in the University of Delhi. To keep our students connected to our alumni, The Alumni Relations Cell was inaugurated in the academic session of 2007-08. Our Vision: Building a bridge between the past and the future, maintaining connections between the alumni and our department, and empowering students with the insights and experiences of our alumni. Our Mission: The main objective of our cell is to create a network between the alumni and the students of our department, inspiring personal and professional growth of students through meaningful interactions with alumni.
