About Us

FOR PEOPLE WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes. OUR MISSION: Arc of Greater New Orleans (ArcGNO) works to secure for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) opportunities to develop, function, and live to their fullest potential. OUR PURPOSE: To create, through education, advocacy, and support, a greater New Orleans community that includes, accepts, and celebrates IDD people. OUR SERVICES: The ArcGNO Family Service Coordination staff works with families of infants (0-3 years) to assess needs and identify effective therapies and treatments.
