The Arts Foundation Te Tumu Toi

We want to collectively amplify the impact our countrys most outstanding artists are having on New Zealand, whether its strengthening our cultural identity, furthering their discipline and communities, contributing to the wellbeing of Aotearoa, or leading important change. Its a new ambitious era for the Foundation, and we want you right there with us. The Arts Foundation was established in 1998 to honour extraordinary New Zealand artists. By the close of 2018, our generous community had gifted 205 artists with awards totalling $6 million. Award recipients include writers, choreographers, screen artists, visual artists, theatre practitioners and musicians. In 2013 we launched Boosted, New Zealands only art crowdfunding platform. Boosted crowdfunding campaigns have an 85% success rate for artists projects, and the platform has raised over $5 million since launch.
