The Ballarat Foundation

The Ballarat Foundation is Ballarat and the regions own Community Foundation. Run by the community for the community, our primary function is to build a significant pool of capital that is wisely invested, with income used to provide charitable support for the community year in year out. The Foundation is Ballarat and Districts leading philanthropic organisation and also provides advocacy and leadership in areas relating to Philanthropy. The Foundation covers the geographic areas of the shires of Ararat Rural City, Pyrenees, Hepburn, Moorabool, the western half of Golden Plains and the City of Ballarat. The Ballarat Foundation is an independent organisation managed by a community representative and voluntary Board of Directors.
