The Bikeability Trust is the national charity for the governments cycle education programme based on the National Standard for Cycle Training: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-national-standard-for-cycle-training. Alongside engineering and enforcement, cycle education contributes to more people cycling, more safely, more often. High-quality cycle education enables confident and enjoyable cycling, raises awareness of skilful cycling among all road users, and contributes to better transport, health and well being.
