We want to create the modern hybrid-studio model by combining the elegance and professionalism of a commercial facility with the comfort and personality of a production space. In Fall of 2005, Engineer Andrew Krivonos opened Southfall Studios in Park Slope, Brooklyn as a mix room for his recording projects. Word of mouth spread immediately and by 2007, the facility was not enough to meet demands. Andrew upgraded the studio to a new facility in an old microbrewery in Bushwick, changing its name to the Brewery Recording Studio. Meanwhile, producer Dot Da Genius was developing his own production company, Headbanga Muzik, with artist Kid Cudi out of his project studio in Brooklyn.
