The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre was founded in 1991 and was the first in Britain dedicated to rehabilitating and retraining retired racehorses. Welfare over the years has been placed high on racings agenda too and, thankfully, we now find that we are able to spend most of our time retraining thoroughbreds for a useful and rewarding life after racing.
