The Burkina Faso Chamber of Mines

The Chamber of Mines of Burkina (CMB) is the umbrella organization of mining companies in Burkina. It is a non-profit association created in July 2011 to stand for the private mining sector. It currently counts about fifty (50) affiliated membres including local and international companies operating in the fields of exploration and mining as well as geoservices (analytical laboratories, drilling companies, mining subcontractors, etc.). The Chamber of Mines concentrates its efforts on defending the interests of its members. This makes it one of the leading players in the sector. This strategic position enables its capacity to carry out meaningful actions which heaviliy countributes to the socio-economic development of the country.
