The Cartford Inn

A 17th century coaching inn at the historic crossing of the River Wyre, offering visitors spectacular views of the riverscape across to the quietly beautiful Bowland fells beyond. The Cartford Inn has earned a reputation for serving some of Lancashires best food and drink in contemporary, rural-chic style. The menu showcases the best produce from across the region, prepared skilfully and sensitively to create favourite British dishes alongside more adventurous cooking. The hotel has 15 luxury bedrooms, each individually designed and furnished with the same attention to detail seen throughout the rest of the inn. These include the spacious penthouse suite with privileged views of the surrounding landscape. An onsite barn has recently been completely renovated to create a two-floor facility for private and corporate events including private dining experiences and business meetings.
