The Center For Rapid Recovery

The Center for Rapid Recovery, Inc. (CRR) also known as the Training and Research Institute for Cultural Competence is a non-profit 501(c)(3) faith-based minority-focused behavioral healthcare organization established in 1992 to serve ethnically and linguistically diverse residents of Long Island. CRR is located in the Village of Hempstead within the 18th Assembly District of Nassau County and viewed as a beacon of hope for the communities of color that suffer with poorer access to quality healthcare and health outcomes than the rest of Long Island. CRR is dedicated to offering culturally competent and high quality care to people with chemical dependence, developmental disabilities, HIV/AIDS, mental health concerns and families of such persons who reside in the Nassau County communities of Freeport, Roosevelt, Uniondale and Hempstead, New York.
