For over 50 years, THE CHARACTERS has proudly represented some of North Americas top actors, directors, writers, producers & production talent worldwide. With agents in Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary, we remain one of Canadas only national talent agencies. When Larry Goldhar became involved in the talent end of the entertainment business 50 years ago, he could hardly imagine that the careers of many well-known performers would be launched into a galaxy of earning roles through his efforts and those of other staff members at The Characters. Though the ultimate end game actors performing roleshas remained constant, the vast changes in the industry, both technical and procedural, through the years that followed the opening of The Characters Talent Agency indeed reflect a substantial evolution in the way the industry operated then as a opposed to the way it does today.
