Founded in 1876, Beverly School for the Deaf is one of the oldest schools for Deaf and hard of Hearing children in the U.S. While much has changed since then, the school remains committed to providing an exceptional education for children who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, or who have other special communication and learning needs. In the 1980s, the school expanded its educational opportunities to include children with many secondary issues including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, developmental delays, and physical challenges.
