The Childrens Hospital School Leicester

We provide education for students from across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland who are too ill to attend their usual school. Our students are aged 318, and are taught across three school sites and at home through our outreach team. The school provides education for approximately 950 students each academic year a number that is increasing. The length of stay for these students can be from two days to several years. Our students have a range of medical needs, both physical and mental. Some may have chronic and/or life-threatening medical conditions that bring them into hospital many times in their childhood...
