The Childrens Scholarship Fund

Childrens Scholarship Fund (CSF) was founded in 1998 by the late Ted Forstmann and John Walton. CSF provides children of low-income families with tuition assistance in grades K-8, and supports expanding educational opportunities for all children. Since our inception, the lives of 209,736 children across the United States have been changed for the better by CSF scholarships worth more than $1 billion. This school year, more than 33,900 children are using CSF scholarships nationwide, including more than 7,000 students in New York City.
