The College of Dental Technologists of Ontario (CDTO) is a regulatory body that represents over 500 active Registered Dental Technologists (RDTs) in Ontario, Canada. CDTO ensures competency and accountability of RDTs by: Setting the requirements for entry into the profession. Ensuring the continued competence and professional development of the profession by requiring all Members to participate in the Quality Assurance program. Establishing the Standards of Practice that must be met by members of the profession to ensure high quality patient care and safety. Holding members of the profession accountable for meeting practice and conduct standards through complaints, disciplinary and fitness to practice procedures.
