The Community House

Our rich and dynamic history in 1941 when a group of visionary leader recognized there was a growing need to support and serve he community. Committed to the belief that a vibrant community take care of its own as the nation entered World War II, they set in motion a series of extraordinary accomplishments that took the organization from its roots in downtown Hinsdale, through moves, renovations and expansions each reflecting a need for growth. Through the culmination of generations of leadership, The Community House continue to elevate the quality of life in our community. Today, The Community House has become so much a part of the community that most people cant remember a time when it wasnt here and, could dream of the possibility it wouldnt exist. In fact, it only exists today because of the rare vision and generous support provided over the year by people just like you.
