The mission of The Cottage is to raise awareness and facilitate the healing of individuals, families, and communities affected by sexual violence and child abuse. The Cottage is a 501c3 nonprofit providing free and confidential services to Athens-Clarke County. Staffed by professional social workers, The Cottage works with survivors and their families as they navigate the legal system and/or the after effects of the trauma associated with abuse.
