The Egyptian Organization for Human Rights (EOHR) was founded in 1985 and is now considered one of the oldest and most professional non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Egypt. Its headquarters are in Cairo. EOHR has a national membership of 2,300 and has 17 provincial branches located throughout Egypt.
