OUR MISSION: TO SHOW YOUNG PEOPLE THAT GODS LOVE IS REAL. The Encounter (formerly SEP Rockies) is a Christ-focused, activity-based, week-long epic summer camp that resides in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Every year, hundreds of campers and staff come together to experience an indescribable week of fun and fellowship. Campers participate in tons of activities, eat home-cooked style meals, and create bonds that last a lifetime. Our activities vary each year to change up the experience for our campers, but our teens participate in a handful of the following: Basketball, Chapel, Archery, Riflery, Formal Dance (and multiple dances/banquets), Drama Classes, Soccer, Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Rock Climbing, Frisbee Golf, Block Parties, Swimming, Night Glow Challenges, Capture the Flag and more.
