The Freecycle Network

The Freecycle NetworkTM is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission it is to make it easier to give items away via our globally local web communities at Freecycle.org than it is to throw items away. The Network is made up of thousands of groups with millions of members around the world. Its a grass-roots movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns. Its all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer and membership is free
