The Goddess & Grocer is so much more than your average neighborhood spot. We work with the best culinary minds, partner with amazing small and women-owned businesses, and support local charities making a difference in Chicago. All of this to bring you the very best in food, drink, gifts, catering and hospitality. Inspired by the markets in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia, owner Debbie Sharpe set up her first Goddess and Grocer in 2005, in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. After traveling the globe for years, touring with and cooking for the likes of Tina Turner, and The Rolling Stones, she fell in love with Chicago during a Paul McCartney tour stop and jumped off the crew bus and never left.
